Marshal Matt Dillon becomes suspicious when Mamie, a formidable and assertive woman, suddenly takes over the Longhorn Saloon, claiming to have purchased it from the previous owner, Herman Bleeker. Bleeker's unexplained disappearance and Mamie's evasive answers raise concerns. Dillon's investigation leads to the discovery of Bleeker's bloodied clothing buried behind the saloon, intensifying the mystery.
